Meet the Team

Neha launched Handwritten Homes (formerly Neha Sawhney Interior Design) in 2018 with an intention of bringing affordable yet luxurious designs to people. She graduated as an architect in 2002 and worked on some prestigious projects. But soon she realized she wanted to pursue a more finer aspect of designing and wanted to design for people and not for masses. She loved getting into details and improvising  clients' ideas to give them spaces they feel connected with.  Over the course, Neha changed countries, worked on her business for 5 years in India, worked at a couple of interior design firms in Toronto and one adorable girl later, she decided to follow her passion through Handwritten Homes and give clients spaces that are unique to their home and lifestyle.

After many successful years in business management industry, Sumeet joined his wife Neha, at the helm of HHI to grow the expanding business. His passion and love for interior design, photography, vintage furniture, antiques & fine arts motivated him to obtain his real estate license and he started helping clients with setting up their 'dream homes' rather than buying houses. His strong management background and creative skills made him the perfect compliment to Neha's design visions. Sumeet's invaluable assistance brings our beautiful designs to life. As an on-site project manager, he ensures that the completed design phase is flawlessly executed, delivering the vision exactly as intended. Without his expertise, our designs wouldn't achieve their full potential!
